How this works
- Fit checks the card against the box's slots and the ~75 W a mini-PC PCIe slot supplies with no external power - the info nobody compiles.
- Capability combines the box's iGPU with the card: transcodes add up; Frigate uses one detector (the card replaces the iGPU); a GPU's VRAM sets the local-LLM size.
- Power runs the box between idle and its rated load for the hours you set, adds the card under load and ~8 W per 3.5″ drive, and multiplies by your rate.
- Every figure is an approximate, curated estimate - a planning starting point, not a guarantee.
